I care about the parts most people never notice:
hierarchy, spacing, a corner radius that's off by two pixels.

I build the systems that keep a multi-brand platform consistent everywhere a customer meets it, with the front-end fluency to keep design and engineering in parity.

Own three member-facing surfaces — site, extension, and email — for the e-commerce platform behind partner shop-and-earn programs. Members shop 1,100+ retailers and earn in the currency they're already loyal to, across 10+ programs including United, American, Southwest, and Capital One.

  • Designed the desktop shopping portal from 0 to 1 as sole designer, then the design system behind 10+ branded programs: brand framework, components, and campaign templates that hold across every surface while each client keeps its own brand.
  • Built Splender.com, the company's first B2C cash back program — site, app, extension, and the brand — in a category people didn't quite trust. Competitors piled on logos and percentages; Splender was clear about what you'd earn and why to believe it. 25% month-over-month growth in year one, 5★ rating, and the category leader, eBates (now Rakuten Rewards), bought it to shut it down.
  • Rebuilt member homepages mobile-first, fitting more merchant placements and personalization into less scrolling. On United MileagePlus Shopping: 42% engagement, 35% transactions, 12% revenue, 20% more placements sold.
  • Rebuilt the partner email program as one mobile-first system — one comp and codebase, every client, every send, 168.4M sends a year. Four priced placement tiers come from one component, so the hierarchy on screen is the hierarchy sales sells. Automated the merchant logo library, unlocking theming, dark modules, and removing buttons. Click-through and click-to-open both rose in A/B test; the module structure is now being adopted for on-site layouts.
  • Designed the company's first browser extension from 0 to 1 — a third product alongside the site and email, reaching members at the moment of purchase with coupons and price comparison. Defined its interaction model, onboarding, and the constraints of living in someone else's page.
  • Prototyping an AI shopping and rewards assistant for Alaska's Atmos Rewards, and building marketing a send builder in Claude Code to assemble and preview campaigns themselves.
  • Sought out as the team's design leader from an individual contributor seat: mentor to every junior designer and go-to source for creative direction at every level.
